We are currently hiring an AI Engineer for a fast-growing ecommerce company in Noida.

About the Role

This is a hands-on AI engineering role in Noida, building production machine learning and generative AI systems for a high-volume ecommerce business. You will work across search and discovery, recommendations, pricing, demand forecasting, catalogue enrichment and support automation. This is not a research seat – your models ship to real customers and are measured on conversion, retention and margin.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and deploy ML models for recommendations, personalisation, search ranking and dynamic pricing

Ship generative AI and LLM features – product description generation, catalogue enrichment, semantic search, RAG pipelines and support chatbots

Own the full model lifecycle – data pipelines, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring and retraining

Run A/B tests and measure impact on conversion rate, average order value, retention and margin

Partner with product, engineering, category and marketing teams to find where AI actually moves the business

Write clean, production-grade Python and contribute to code reviews, CI/CD and MLOps practices

Skills and Experience Required

3-6 years as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist shipping models to production

Strong Python and SQL, with experience handling large datasets

Deep practical knowledge of ML – regression, classification, clustering, ranking and recommender systems

Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus scikit-learn, pandas and NumPy

Experience building with LLMs – prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, fine-tuning and evaluation

Familiarity with AWS, GCP or Azure, and with Docker and API deployment

Understanding of MLOps – experiment tracking, model versioning, monitoring and drift detection

Based in or willing to relocate to Noida or Delhi NCR

Good to Have

Prior experience in ecommerce, retail, marketplace, D2C or consumer internet

Recommendation engines or search relevance at scale

Exposure to Spark, Airflow or Kafka

Computer vision for product imagery or visual search

A public portfolio – GitHub, Kaggle, papers or side projects
