We are hiring a Senior System Analyst with deep Android expertise to sit between business requirements and technical delivery on a large scale consumer mobile platform. You will translate functional needs into scalable Android solutions, guide teams on architecture and delivery, and bring clarity to complex playback and streaming workflows. Hands on familiarity with modern Android practices — MVVM, Clean Architecture, Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow and Jetpack Compose — is what makes this role work. Exposure to video streaming or OTT platforms is a strong advantage.

POSITION SNAPSHOT

• Role: Senior System Analyst (Android ecosystems, business and technical analysis)

• Experience: 6 to 10 years in Android focused system analysis or technical and business analysis

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Work From Office)

• Compensation: INR 35 to 45 LPA

• Notice period: Immediate to 60 days preferred

PLEASE NOTE

This is an analysis and solution design role, not a pure hands on Android coding role. You will read, review and interpret Kotlin and Java code, logs, crashes and performance traces, and own requirements, documentation and delivery coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirement analysis and solution design for Android application features

• Technical coordination and delivery across engineering, product and QA

• System and platform guidance on Android architecture and modular app design

• Documentation and process excellence, including clear specs and acceptance criteria

• Stakeholder collaboration across cross functional teams

• Continuous improvement of analysis, delivery and release readiness practices

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 6 to 10 years in Android focused system analysis or technical and business analysis roles

• Exposure to large scale mobile application environments

• Strong understanding of Android architecture, app lifecycle and platform behaviour

• Hands on familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture and modular app design

• Jetpack Compose, UI state management and component behaviour (hands on preferred, not mandatory)

• Kotlin, Coroutines and Flow, enough to interpret asynchronous, reactive and data driven workflows

• Dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger for module level design and dependency mapping

• RxJava and reactive programming concepts including observable streams, threading strategies and operator behaviour (ability to interpret is sufficient)

• Ability to read and analyse Kotlin and Java code, logs, crashes and performance traces

• RESTful APIs, JSON, API contract reviews and backend to mobile integrations

• CI/CD processes, Git workflows and release readiness

• Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, Firebase and Crashlytics, and analytics tools

PREFERRED / BONUS SKILLS

• Video streaming or OTT platform exposure, including playback workflows, buffering and content delivery pipelines

• Understanding of HLS or DASH, DRM concepts, or ExoPlayer integrations

• Agile and Scrum environment experience

• Participation in platform modernisation initiatives such as Compose migration or modularisation

• OTT, video streaming, digital media or any high scale consumer mobile product

• Products with millions of active users across multiple device types and regions

• Owns requirement documentation, technical clarity and delivery coordination for Android workstreams

Someone who is fluent enough in Android to read a stack trace and know what it means, but whose real strength is turning a fuzzy business ask into a specification engineers can build from without a dozen follow up questions.
