Location-Chandigarh/Ludhiana Reporting To-Regional Sales Manager
## Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors, expanding market coverage, and leading frontline sales teams within the assigned territory. The role focuses on strengthening General Trade distribution, increasing retailer reach, and achieving sales targets.
## Key Responsibilities
\* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
\* Manage and develop distributors to improve market penetration and product availability.
\* Expand retailer network across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.
\* Lead and guide Sales Officers/Territory Sales Executives to drive performance.
\* Execute trade schemes, promotions, and market development activities.
\* Monitor competitor activities and identify growth opportunities.
\* Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
\* Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.
## Requirements
\* Graduate; MBA preferred.
\* 5–8 years of Channel Sales experience.
\* Prior experience in Stationery, Paper, Writing Instruments, Office Supplies, or related industries preferred.
\* Strong General Trade and Distribution Management experience.
\* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing distributors.
\* Willingness to travel extensively.
