KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Teach UG and PG finance courses and independently handle additional relevant subjects from Day 1
- Develop and update course plans, case studies, assessments and course materials using innovative, industry-linked pedagogy
- Publish in reputed Scopus / ABDC / Web of Science journals and present at conferences
- Contribute to NAAC, NBA, AACSB-style accreditation, NIRF and other academic processes
- Mentor students; support finance clubs, case competitions, live projects, internships and placement / industry-connect activities
- Contribute to curriculum development and take up broader departmental and institutional responsibilities

WHO SHOULD APPLY

- Ph.D. completed in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field
- Experience teaching UG/PG finance subjects such as Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Banking, FinTech or Financial Accounting
- Recent research publications in finance or accounting
- Hands-on proficiency with financial modelling, Excel, and tools such as Bloomberg, Python / R, SPSS or Tableau is a plus; certifications such as CFA, FRM or NISM are a plus
- Relevant industry experience in banking, financial services or corporate finance is a plus
- A stable and reasonably continuous employment history
- Able to join within 30-60 days

Is a PhD mandatory for this Assistant Professor Finance role?

Yes. The university requires a completed Ph.D. in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a closely related area. Candidates whose Ph.D. is still in progress are not eligible for this opening.
