We are hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for an established Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and PCBA manufacturing company in Pune, Maharashtra. The company builds printed circuit board assemblies and complete electronic products for OEM customers across automotive, EV, industrial, telecom and consumer electronics, with in-house SMT, THT, box build, system integration and testing capabilities.

As CEO, you will own the full P&L and lead the next phase of growth: winning new OEM customers, scaling manufacturing capacity, improving margins and building a leadership team that can run the business at a much larger scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for an EMS industry veteran who is equally comfortable on the shop floor, in a customer boardroom and in an investor review.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

​

Business Growth and Strategy

• Drive revenue growth and profitability of the business against an agreed multi-year plan.

• Develop and execute the business strategy, including segment focus, capacity roadmap and investment priorities.

• Expand the customer base across automotive, EV, industrial, telecom, consumer electronics and related electronics segments.

• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, new market segments and value-added services such as box build and system integration.

• Build a healthy, diversified order book and reduce dependence on any single customer or segment.

Operations Leadership

• Lead Sales, Production, Supply Chain and Program Management as one integrated business.

• Drive world-class manufacturing practices across SMT, THT, box build, system integration and testing operations.

• Deliver on productivity, quality, on-time delivery and cost objectives (PQDC).

• Champion lean manufacturing, yield improvement, first-pass yield, OEE and capacity utilisation.

• Ensure robust NPI (new product introduction) processes from RFQ and DFM to prototype and volume ramp-up.

• Uphold quality systems and certifications relevant to EMS customers, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and IPC standards.

Financial and P&L Management

• Own business profitability, EBITDA and overall financial performance.

• Drive material cost optimisation, component sourcing strategy and conversion cost reduction.

• Improve working capital through inventory, receivables and payables discipline.

• Set and track business KPIs, and ensure revenue and margin targets are met.

• Lead annual operating plans, capex decisions and quoting / pricing governance.

Customer and Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective OEM customers.

• Lead strategic customer discussions, commercial negotiations, contract terms and quarterly business reviews.

• Represent the company with customers, investors, partners, suppliers and industry bodies.

• Present business performance, risks and growth plans to the Board and promoters.

Organisation Building

• Build leadership capability across functions and develop a strong second line of leaders.

• Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership and execution.

• Strengthen systems, governance, ERP and organisational processes to support future scale.

• Attract and retain top manufacturing, engineering and commercial talent.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

​

• 20+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCBA or contract electronics manufacturing.

• Proven track record in a CEO, Business Head, COO or General Manager role with full P&L responsibility.

• Deep, hands-on understanding of SMT, THT, box build, system integration and testing processes.

• Demonstrated success in winning and growing OEM accounts in automotive, EV, industrial, telecom or consumer electronics.

• Strong commercial acumen: costing, quoting, pricing, contract negotiation and margin management.

• Solid grasp of electronics supply chain, component sourcing and inventory management.

• Experience scaling a manufacturing business, adding capacity, and building teams and processes.

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline (mandatory).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

​

• MBA or equivalent management qualification.

• Experience in automotive or EV electronics programmes and IATF 16949 environments.

• Exposure to export customers, global OEMs or multinational EMS companies.

• Experience working with promoters, private equity or institutional investors.

• Familiarity with government manufacturing incentives in India such as PLI schemes.
