Job Title: Dean – Aerospace Engineering
School of Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline (mandatory).
Strong academic record throughout.
Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in higher education.
Must have served as Associate Professor or Assistant Professor with proven academic leadership responsibilities.
Prior experience in a Dean / Associate Dean / Head of Department / Academic Leadership role is highly preferred.
Strong research profile with publications in reputed / indexed journals.
Experience in funded research projects, aerospace consultancy, patents, or industry collaboration is an added advantage.

Role & Responsibilities:
Provide academic and strategic leadership to the Aerospace Engineering department.
Lead curriculum design and modernization aligned with industry standards, accreditation requirements (NBA / NAAC), and emerging aerospace technologies.
Oversee faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Promote a culture of research, innovation, publications, patents, and sponsored projects.
Strengthen industry partnerships with aerospace, defense, aviation, and space research organizations.
Ensure excellence in teaching quality, student engagement, and academic governance.
Lead accreditation processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support development of advanced laboratories, simulation facilities, wind tunnels, and research infrastructure.
