We are currently hiring a Director of Admissions for a leading education organisation in Gurgaon.

About the Role

This is a senior admissions leadership role based in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. As Director of Admissions you will own the entire enrolment funnel end to end – from lead generation and counselling through to conversion, fee collection and student onboarding. You will lead a large admissions and counselling team, carry an annual enrolment and revenue target, and build the systems, scripts and reporting that make admissions predictable rather than heroic.

Key Responsibilities

Own the admissions and enrolment target for the academic year, including intake numbers, revenue and yield

Lead, hire, train and performance-manage a team of admissions counsellors, team leaders and managers

Design and run the admissions funnel – enquiry to application to interview to offer to fee payment to enrolment – and improve conversion at every stage

Work closely with marketing on lead quality, cost per lead, campaign performance and channel mix across digital, offline, events and referrals

Build and manage channel partners, education consultants, school and college relationships and referral networks

Own the admissions CRM – data hygiene, call quality, lead routing, follow-up discipline, dashboards and MIS reporting to leadership

Set counselling standards and scripts, run call audits, and raise the quality of the parent and student experience

Forecast intake accurately and report weekly on pipeline, conversion and revenue to the leadership team

Ensure compliance with regulatory, fee and documentation requirements across the admissions process

Who We Are Looking For

8-15 years of experience in admissions, enrolment, inside sales or counselling-led sales, with at least 4 years leading a team

Proven track record of owning and delivering a large admissions or revenue target in edtech, higher education, K-12, test prep, study abroad or a similar education business

Strong people leadership – you have built, coached and retained counselling teams at scale

Deeply data-driven. Comfortable with funnel metrics, conversion rates, cohort analysis and CRM dashboards

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Hindi, with the maturity to speak to parents, students and senior leadership

Hands-on with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, LeadSquared, Zoho or similar

Based in or willing to relocate to Gurgaon or Delhi NCR for a full-time work-from-office role

Good to Have

Experience scaling admissions for a new campus, programme or geography

Exposure to both online and offline admissions models

Experience managing channel partner and education consultant networks
