Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack + Agentic AI / GenAI | Pune (Wakad) | Hybrid | Full Time | 8–12 Years

We are hiring hands-on Principal Software Engineers (Full Stack) who can design microservices and cloud-native platforms and ship Agentic AI and Generative AI features into production — using Java, Node.js or Python with modern JavaScript front ends.

POSITION SNAPSHOT

• Role: Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack (Individual Contributor)

• Experience: 8–12 years

• Location: Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra – Hybrid (3 days WFO: Tue, Wed, Thu)

• Working hours: 9 AM – 6 PM IST

• Open positions: 20+

• Notice period: Immediate to 30 days preferred; 45 days maximum

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and own full-stack features end to end, from UI to APIs, services and data

• Architect scalable microservices and cloud-native systems for a global enterprise SaaS platform

• Build and productionise Agentic AI and Generative AI capabilities (LLM integration, AI agents, RAG, tool-calling workflows)

• Lead system design discussions and set engineering standards for performance, security and reliability

• Write clean, testable, high-quality code and review the work of other engineers

• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar as a senior individual contributor

• Work closely with product managers, architects and global teams across time zones

​

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 8–12 years of hands-on software development in product companies or startups

• Full-stack development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular or similar) with Java, Node.js or Python on the back end

• Strong microservices and cloud-native architecture experience (AWS, Azure or GCP; Docker; Kubernetes)

• Hands-on experience building with Agentic AI / Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG, vector databases)

• Solid grounding in system design, REST APIs, distributed systems and databases (SQL and NoSQL)

• Comfortable using AI coding assistants as part of daily engineering

PREFERRED / BONUS SKILLS

• Experience with enterprise SaaS, ERP, supply chain or manufacturing software

• CI/CD, DevOps practices and observability tooling

• Event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)

• Contributions to AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Currently working in a product company or a funded startup (service-company profiles will not be considered)

• Currently based in Pune (no relocation profiles)
