Role Overview:

​

The Professor will lead the Finance and Accounting department by driving academic excellence, research leadership, faculty development, industry engagement, strategic planning, and institutional growth.

​

Qualifications:

PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline.

Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks.

Eligibility as per current UGC norms.

​

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in universities or higher education institutions.

Significant publications in reputed journals.

Experience in academic administration, accreditation, and institutional development is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership

Provide strategic direction for Finance programs.

Lead curriculum innovation.

Introduce emerging areas such as:

FinTech

ESG Finance

Business Analytics

AI in Finance

Corporate Governance

Financial Risk Management

Research Leadership

​

Build a strong research ecosystem.

Lead funded research initiatives.

Publish extensively in reputed journals.

Mentor faculty research.

Guide doctoral scholars.

Faculty Development

​

Mentor Assistant and Associate Professors.

Conduct faculty development programs.

Lead academic quality enhancement initiatives.

​

Industry Collaboration

​

Develop partnerships with corporates, banks, consulting firms, and financial institutions.

Facilitate executive education and consultancy assignments.

Strengthen placements and internships.

​

Institutional Leadership

​

Lead accreditation and ranking initiatives.

Support policy formulation.

Chair academic committees.

Represent the institution at conferences and industry forums.

Preferred Across All Positions

Experience with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and NEP 2020 implementation.

Exposure to NAAC, NBA, and NIRF processes.

Hands-on experience with ERP/LMS platforms.

Strong industry connections and corporate engagement.

Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
