Job Title: Senior SEO Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimization efforts
across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience in EdTech or
education, with a proven ability to promote courses, push academic websites up search rankings, and drive website
lead generation organically. They will bring 5–7 years of hands-on experience working with Tier-1 or Tier-2
companies, demonstrating a strong track record of driving organic growth, improving keyword rankings, and
increasing ROI through innovative SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
o Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
o Conduct competitive analysis and keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
Technical SEO:
o Collaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices.
o Perform technical audits and resolve crawl issues, indexing errors, and site performance issues.
On-Page & Off-Page Optimization:
o Optimize content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking for target keywords.
o Drive link-building strategies and manage outreach campaigns to boost domain authority.
Content Collaboration:
o Work closely with the content and product teams to align SEO with content strategy and product
launches.
o Provide guidelines to content writers and editors to create SEO-friendly content.
Analytics & Reporting:
o Monitor SEO KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
o Generate monthly reports with actionable insights and ROI measurement.
Team Leadership (if applicable):
o Mentor junior SEO specialists and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements:
5–7 years of SEO experience, preferably in high-growth Tier-1 or Tier-2 companies.
Mandatory: Prior experience in the EdTech or education industry is required. Candidates must have a
background in promoting courses, improving rankings of academic websites, and driving organic student lead
generation through search.
Deep understanding ofsearch engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends.
Proven experience in technical SEO, content optimization, and link-building.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Website lead generation organically is a key result area — the candidate will be responsible for driving
qualified student enquiries and course-related form submissions through organic search.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international SEO or multilingual sites.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective.
Exposure to e-commerce, SaaS, or content-heavy platforms.
Edtech , elearning experience mandatory
